Since 1949, Phillips and Associates has provided complete architectural, planning, and research services to communities across the midwest. The firm, located in Canton, Illinois, has designed a wide range of projects including schools, banks, jails, churches, hospitals, libraries, multi-family housing projects, government buildings, and several innovative research projects. P.A. also provides services for roofing projects, Life Safety analysis, energy conservation, handicapped accessibility, remodeling, interior design, and renovation.

The Geneseo Middle School, completed in 1998, was chosen for design excellence from among 252 projects statewide at the 1999 ISBE conference.
